Welcome to the Zonta Club of Westchester! We are celebrating 81 years of service to women in the metropolitan New York area. The Zonta Club of Westchester is an organization of executives and professionals working together to advance the status of women worldwide through service and advocacy. Originally called the Zonta Club of Mount Vernon,our club was chartered in 1931. It is part of Zonta International, District 3-Area 1. It holds Zonta International Charter number 111, making it one of the oldest clubs among 1200 clubs in 63 countries. Today, it representsZonta International in Westchester County.
The Zonta Club of Westchester and Zonta International seek to: • Improve the legal, political, economic, health, and professional status of women through service and advocacy. • Work for the advancement of understanding, goodwill and peace through a world fellowship of executives in business and the professions; • Promote justice and universal respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms. • Be united internationally to foster high ethical standard, implement service programs, and provide mutual support and fellowship for members who serve their communities, their nations and the world.
The club meets at 6:30pm on the third Tuesday of the month, from September to June, to discuss our objectives and goals, as well as to provide fellowship and networking.
