MEMBERSHIP

Members are dynamic and distinguished executive and professionals in our communities.  They come from a diversity of occupations in both the private and public sectors, working in areas of business, finance, education, government, health, science, and manufacturing.

WHAT MEMBERSHIP IN ZONTA CAN DO FOR YOU

• Enrich your life as you proactively contribute to sustainable change for women and girls locally and globally.
• Connect you with others who share your passion expanding “your circle of friends”. Become part of a team.
• Increase your knowledge about issues related to women: gender inequality, violence against women, health disparities, education, poverty, etc.
• Provide services and advocate for women and their families which have an immediate as well as long-lasting impact.

If you what you have read or heard has piqued your interest and you want to learn more please join us as our guest at one of our monthly membership meetings (3rd Tuesday of every month in the evening). MEMBER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Attend and participate in club and relevant committee meetings
• Pay all dues promptly.
• Participate in club service, advocacy and fundraising activities.
• Identify and suggest prospective new members.
• Attend are workshops, conferences and international conventions, if possible.
• Keep informed about Zonta International and its activities through The Zontian, monthly e-newsletter, social media tools and/or the Zonta International website (www.zonta.org).
• Members are encouraged to accept leadership roles, if possible.

MEMBER DUES

Annual dues are $165. This is disbursed as follows:

• $91 – Zonta International (including $3 for liability insurance)
• $20– District 3, Zonta International
• $54– Zonta Club of Westchester
